Pros and cons of MyScript Memo app for iPhone and iPad

Quite useful, I make lots of handwritten memos using this app, but my real need is to have a function allowing handwriting instead of keyboard for every app.

I have been looking for something like this for so long. The iphone is a powerful computer but they want is the be the slave of their online servers. All other handwriting to text or voice recognition need access to the internet even when the machine can do the job locally. Not everyone have access to the stable internet everywhere.

Easy to use. No clutter icons. Use it all the time for home renos when I need to write down a few dimensions and notes. Quicker than typing. Great little app.

Agree with the other reviewer. Probably best app and OVERALL better than Bamboo and Penultimate. While Bamboo is a very fine app, feels excellent it has missing stuff. Things I wish the add to Memo is 1. Landscape mode, 2. Ability to delete page (see how they added button in Bamboo and Penultimate), 3. Quality of the application experience could improve to match the smoothness of Bamboo

I really like this app a lot. I would just make it possible to create a new note that has many pages. Maybe it is possible but I dont know how. Instead, when taking notes, you create many new notes even if they cover the same subject. Otherwise, safe lots of paper and always have my "pad" to take notes

I use it for quickly scrawling down notes ie somebodys address directions

It mixes letter h and n, please do something. I write n but it understands h. It mixes them. But very good application. Need some improvements.

Application interface is all in Chinese no matter if I have Russian locale set on my ipad. Интерфейс приложения почему-то весь на китайском (иероглифы), хотя системный язык установлен Русский.

I could never get the note to scroll to page two so I ended up with all new one page notes. The inability to scroll to page two was frustrating and the pen control is not fluid. My handwriting was terrible no matter what style of pen, etc. wouldnt recommend this app for any reason as its just one more clutter generator that doesnt make it easy to integrate photos or typeface. Why did I download it in the first place? Fake reviews! It works but real pen and paper are more effective in this case. Found a much better drawing and writing app for free. Dont bother with this. Nothing special about any of its features.

Initially I read the reviews, and decided to give this a try. Since that time, Apple has improved some of the apps included on the phone such as "Notes". Notes now supports handwritten documentation. However as far as I know, it didnt convert it to printed text. For that reason, I will give this app to stars, since it did not perform as well as I thought it should. And now with the updates, its simply not worth the price.

This app is good for quick notes. It is easy to use and works well. Might be 4-5 stars if you could scroll. In fact, the app really needs this feature (or at least a way to add more pages) as its very hard to get much text on a single screen. Other fixes needed: correct duplicate option on export menu, correct capitalization on time (e.g. make p.m. instead of Pm), dont truncate dates. Also, users should be warned that usage data is sent by default so they can turn it off in the settings menu (in the interest of privacy, the app really should NOT send usage data by default). Glad I purchased the app, but really hoping for fixes. Thanks.

Has potential. Paid-for app should include more features. Id give it a 4-5, depending. Needs updates/fixes/add 1. Scrolling feature 2. To-do list "paper choice" 3. Sorting capabilities besides just date Like right now, Im still writing, but cannot see what Im writing because the keyboard is hiding it.
